Circuits for professional cyclists:
1st day,
Going to Butare by the main road. Arrived at Gihinga, veer to the left, and then take the non tarred road to get back to the main road at Ruhango. Accommodation at Butare.
2nd day,
Going to Cyangugu via Gikongoro. Accommodation at Gisakura in the Nyungwe forest. Depending on their choice, cyclists may visit the Nyungwe National Park.
3rd day,
Leaving Cyangugu for Kibuye by the non tarred road. Accommodation at Kibuye at the shore of Lake Kivu.
4th day,
Leaving Kibuye toward Gisenyi by the road alongside coffee plantations. Accommodation at Gisenyi.
5th day,
Going to Ruhengeri. Accommodation at Ruhengeri. Depending on their choice, cyclists may stay, the following day, at Kinigi for visiting Gorillas.
6th day,
Leaving Ruhengeri toward Byumba, the circuit will concern Lakes Bulera and Ruhondo. Accommodation at Byumba.
7th day,
Cyclists will leave Byumba for Kigali.
8th day,
Visiting the Capital will be useful and unforgettable for cyclists before being driven to the airport for their flight.
